It was about half an hour after sunset. The smoke plumes and the different stages of the rocket were lit up by both the sunset and a full moon. It was quite a sight created by several factors. SpaceX might have planned this purposely or may be just coincidence.

The launch took place in Bandenberg AFB and the video was taken from Orange County in Southern California.

I uploaded a 1040p video but YouTube only gives me a 360p playback. I don’t know how to fix that. Any suggestions?
