today visit to "Pollenzo" (Pollentia), an important Roman city which today, thanks to the recovery of the Carlo Albertina Agency, is famous throughout the world for the University of Gastronomic Sciences founded by the Slow Food Presidium.
After my passage in 1996 (it was the location of my wedding photo shoot), Pollenzo became one of the Savoy Residences declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.
I don't think it's after my passage :-) but I like to think of having walked in this square when it was still not very busy.
For wine lovers, I recommend coming to visit the "Wine Bank", created with the aim of building the historical memory of Italian wine, selecting, storing and preserving the best bottles of the peninsula.
I leave you to the beauty of the place and I am curious to know if you too have a historic place made modern and usable by some chef or some local entrepreneur in order to tell the past history with a touch of modernity
