Matt Sacra
Biography: Matt Sacra holds bachelors and masters degrees in history, and before retiring from a 20-year Army career, taught strategy, innovation, and history at West Point. He's authored a book on his faith and growth in combat, as well as multiple articles on the faith, tied to his passion for Judeo-Christian history and biblical truths. He currently teaches as a certified Pennsylvania Social Studies teacher, and has helped lead and teach since 2016 as one of the elders of All For Christ Fellowship, which includes members of the body of Christ from around the US and the world. Their fellowship strives to continually maintain a good and right loving relationship with God and Jesus, focused on preparation for the Kingdom of God and His judgment, through the lens of his new covenant as they refrain from sin, walking in obedience and righteousness. Title: The Obedience of Faith
Synopsis: The Obedience of Faith - a phrase which may only appear twice in scripture, but its roots fill the pages of New and Old Testament scripture, and its concept is essential to our inheritance. This presentation will address many of those scriptures, in addition to Paul's letters, and especially in the teachings of Jesus, all in context of the New Covenant. It will conclude with common reactions to obedience, and exhortations on how to overcome, along with warnings to avoid certain extremes.
Barbara Buzzard
Biography: Barbara began studying Psychology but moved to England and married Sir Anthony Buzzard. While raising her 3 daughters she tried her hand at landscaping and enjoys writing articles and reviews for Focus on the Kingdom. She is a passionate Pro-Life advocate and all things Bible and creation.
Title: Follow the Science
Synopsis: My attempt today is to offer some talking points, some answers to questions, some ways to get into the conversation about abortion. I hope to give perhaps some new or different ways to think about the subject so as to be that light to the world that we were meant to be. It is very possible that we have become jaundiced, thinking we have heard it all before. But are you able to engage with others, to help, to teach – come let us reason together.
