In this video I will review the new Miss Dior 2024 perfume. The House of Dior just presented their latest addition to the Miss Dior family – Miss Dior parfum 2024. This new version of the iconic Miss Dior of 1947 was reimagined by one of the most talented perfumers - Francis Kurkdjian.
Back in 2021 Dior announced Francis Kurkdjian as their new Perfume creation director. The new Miss Dior 2024 version comes as perfume concentration. This is not a reformulation of the existing Miss Dior eau de Parfum that was created in 2021 by Francois Demachy. Miss Dior eau de parfum is not going to be discontinued.
Dior’s website says “The legendary chypre Miss Dior perfume evolves into a composition that blends floral and fruity accords with voluptuous notes of ambery woods. In homage to the jasmine of the original 1947 Miss Dior perfume for women, Francis Kurkdjian chose a jasmine with rare facets, obtained through a special extraction process.” I really like the new take on Miss Dior. I would describe it as an intense fruity floral perfume that has a light and inoffensive gourmand note in the drydown.
