I got my hands on the new 2024 Asus Strix G16 at CES 2024. The G16 keeps most of what was great about the 2023 model, but improves the laptop slightly with more options including a more budget-friendly one with a 13th gen Intel, 4060, and FHD+ 165Hz display, going all the way up to the 14900HX, RTX 4080 with a QHD+ 240Hz display. Not much has changed with its chassis including the fact that's certainly a thicker one so portability shouldn't be your primary focus when looking at this laptop.
