Thank you Wide Ruins Community School for hosting our Just Move It Run/Walk event!! It was amazing to see the community come out and enjoy a great evening of being physically active.
Fort Defiance Indian Hospital Board (FDIHB) Inc. Healthy Living and Outreach Division- Health Promotion Disease Prevention is excited to announce the launch of the 2023 Just Move It (JMI) Series! JMI is a non-competitive running & walking program hosted at various communities to encourage individuals and families to be physically active. We encourage everyone to come out and join us this summer at the following locations listed below:
Valley High School - Sanders, Arizona | June 28, 2023
(Honoring Resiliency - Wear your Tsiiyeel)
Oak Springs/Pine Springs Chapter | July 12, 2023
(Honoring Active Duty & Veterans - Wear Red, White, & Blue)
Crystal Chapter | July 19, 2023
(Honoring K'e - Wear your Clan Shirt)
Bee Holdzil Fighting Scouts Event Center - Fort Defiance, AZ | July 26, 2023
(Celebrating Life - Wear your Moccasins)
*JMI Event Agenda (All Sites)*
- Registration 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm
- Warm Up 6:20 p.m.
- Walk/Run Start 6:30 p.m.
*Important Participation Information*
- Please bring water bottle, sunscreen, wear appropriate clothing and shoes.
- NO PETS allowed at all sites
- Eat a healthy snack before participating
- If you have diabetes, please check your blood sugar before participating.
