The 2023 S650 next generation Mustang looks to be getting TWO new hybrid engines.
The V8 has long been the powerplant of choice for Mustang enthusiasts, but with Ford's big push toward electrification, the sacred cow Coyote V8 could see some dramatic changes in the next platform expected to be introduced late in 2022 as a 2023 model.
Naturally, none this information is confirmed and Ford does not comment on future prodcuts. However, according to the post detailed in this video, it seems that the move to new powerplants is all but inevitable at this point.
