2022 UTokyo 3MT – Yuzu Kobayashi - How water molecules split into hydrogen and oxygen
"Hello. I am a second-year doctoral student at the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences.
I am doing research motivated by the excitement of learning that everything in this world is made of atoms and molecules. Now, my dream is to unveil the mysteries of chemical reactions, which are phenomena of recombination of atoms and molecules.
To share some of the curiosity that science gives me, I participated in this competition. So, whether you know much about chemical reactions or not, or even if you don't know anything at all, I made this presentation for you to experience the world of chemical reactions. Please take a look!"
These videos are part of The University of Tokyo’s fourth Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition. Seventeen PhD students each introduce their research in under three minutes, in English, with just a single slide.
