In an unprecedented act recognizing the grave threats to democracy around the world, five individuals will be honored with the Award this year. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, U.S. Congresswoman Liz Cheney, Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers, and Fulton County, Georgia Election Department Employee Wandrea “Shaye” Moss were each chosen for the courage they’ve shown protecting democracy in the United States and abroad.

Ambassador Caroline Kennedy and her son, Jack Schlossberg, present the awards. Conan O'Brien will host the event.
