This video shows the transition from the 1999/2013 PBS KIDS logo to the new 2022 logo. The change occurred precisely at 6:00 AM EDT between Arthur and The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That on the PBS KIDS 24/7 Channel. As of July 19, 2022, the new logo officially retires the former logo featuring Dash.
The PBS KIDS brand was first established in 1999, with two alternating logos (one with Dash and one with Dot). A few minor adjustments occurred over the years: in 2010, the "kids" subtext was moved from below the main circle into the thought bubble under the "PBS" text, and in 2013, the Dot alternate was officially retired. As of 2022, the Dash logo is also now retired; however, it will still be seen in older promos and other materials that are not yet updated to reflect the new branding.
