We’re at the halfway point of 2022 and so far almost every region on earth has experienced record-breaking heat, an unusual occurrence so early in the year.
Climate change is redefining what is normal, forcing us to adapt to a new world.
With emissions rising, more and more people are becoming vulnerable to the effects of climate change, including heatwaves, droughts and floods.
So: as well as quitting our fossil fuel addiction, we must also focus on adjusting to this new normal and protecting those who are at the greatest risk.
