Update 2023 - I'm leaving this video up for accountability (if anyone without malicious intent even asked for it) and as a landmark of my own personal development, as most of my adult life has been documented on the internet anyway. As of a year since this upload, I'm doing a lot better now, which I've since realized is all my fans ever wanted to hear. The past year, especially these past few months, have taught me unforgettable life lessons bringing me closer to finding myself. This journey and reflection is what I owe to those who prioritized my wellbeing over their enjoyment of my streams. These are the fans I continue to self-improve for, not the bad actors who pretend my tendency to yell at a video game is sinful. It's as if this video is directed to those who hate me rather than those who love me, a tendency in my personal and streaming life which I've made great progress in reversing throughout the past year. The apologetic nature of this video has only given ammunition to those trying to justify their harassment toward me, and did not serve as any reassurance or relief for those who actually care for me. To those who fall into that category, the majority, I should never have made you worry about me. Most could tell I was apologizing for symptoms of how I was feeling rather than addressing and working through the depression itself - neither of which warrant apology. There is a fine line between transparency and oversharing (I am still working through where that may be), but I am at least sure it's not the responsibility of my livestream to care for me emotionally. This reflection has taught me to fill the void in my personal life rather than shifting that responsibility onto strangers. I've since found better habits, better friends, and better purpose to continue walking my path in a better light. I will continue surrounding myself by those who appreciate me for who I am as I continue finding my way.
