Celebrating its 75th year, the Voice of Democracy program's 2021-22 theme asked students to reflect on "America: Where Do We Go From Here?" First-place winner Daniela Mare, sponsored by VFW Post 9486 and its Auxiliary in Centereach, New York, was presented with the T.C. Selman Memorial Scholarship award in the amount of $30,000 by VFW Commander-in-Chief Fritz Mihelcic. She then read her speech live to an audience from all around the world during our second-ever Virtual Parade of Winners. Great job Daniela!
