The summer of 2020 will be spent at our local track with a new 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 that we ordered at MSRP from Hagen Ford in Bay City Michigan. We have been dealing with Phil from Hagen Ford for many years and he has always given us some of the best deals around on all the hard to get cars and trucks.
Ordering our 2020 Shelby GT500 was easy because there are few options, but the color choices were difficult for us with this style. The major option being the $18,500 Carbon Track Pack that is actually well priced for all the items you get. If you are planning to track the car full time or buying a car for your garage, that is the option to get. Our car will be street driven for most of its life back and forth to the track and also to other events, so we opted for a more comfortable car. If you were doing a road course, the GT350R would be the way to go!
With the options we chose, our car spec'ed out at $80,265. The dealership will charge us a Documentation fee of $220, Michigan 6% Sales Tax and a Michigan Plate fee. There are no other mark-ups on this car. Also included in this deal is tinting all the windows with ceramic tint and somehow covering the window sticker to preserve it for the future.
