2019 was the worst year of my life, I lost a 10 year friendship, I was hypomanic starting in April up until I had my second full blown manic episodes on July 4th and at the tail end of July/beginning of August up until I was hospitalized on August 2nd. I gave up almost everything, I don't live in California anymore – I moved back to Michigan in April to be closer to friends and family. A breakup lead me to living in a 2 bedroom apartment by myself with Oscar which destroyed my savings account and made it impossible for me to move to Texas to start with a clean slate. I'm now sharing a 2 bedroom apartment with a family member – but the whole reason I moved back to Michigan in the first place was to be closer to friends and family. I'm working a regular non-video editing job at the moment until I can find a gig as a video editor. Perhaps I'll start Disturb Reality back up with my new microphone equipment that will make the videos look and SOUND crispy clean. I experimented with new things and loved them all and got to spend my summer in a state of mania, which was fun--but also destructive. With mania comes depression which I was in since my hospitalization and am still in, but not nearly as bad as it once was. Here's to hoping that 2020 is a far better ride, tho I haven't been picking up my camera as much so I pray that 2020 will have a Year End Video.
