BMW updated its entire boxer line-up (excepting the R nineT collection) for 2019. So, besides the R120GS and R1250GS Adventure, BMW put the new shift-cam engine on the R and RS versions. While the R roadster looks the same, it's the RS that received a small visual update in the front end.
