Preferred ski characteristics: A ski that is poppy and playful, yet stable at high speeds in variable snow conditions. I love a ski with traditional camber, but I need something versatile enough to handle all the conditions the mountain may throw at me. I also spend just as much time skiing backward as I do forward, so a twin tip is preferred.

About me: I grew up skiing on the East Coast in the Catskills of NY. As a kid I was obsessed with freestyle moguls. I competed locally for a bit and even began to train more seriously in Whistler during summer. In the late 90s and early 2000s, with the Newschool movement starting to gain traction, I transitioned into park skiing. Again, I competed locally and picked up my first sponsor at the age of 15. I took a hiatus from skiing while attending college from 2004 to 2008 (skied maybe 20 days during those years). After a brief stint in the professional world, I packed my bags and moved to Taos to pursue a career as a big mountain skier and ski instructor. I am currently a PSIA-certified instructor and USASA-certified coach. When I'm not skiing I enjoy cooking, gardening, playing guitar, juggling, and writing.
