so uh... late as always. i think this might be my last yearly compilation, so don't get your hopes up for 2019.
there's one video from december 2017 that I forgot to add to the last comp so i made up for it this time around
as always, this is one of the most subjective lists out there, my criteria are, from most to least important, basically:
1) song choice (strong bias on that)
2) audio style and mixing choices that i enjoy most (well-made chords for example)
3) something that i found funny
4) source choice
if you're not here don't be sad. there were lots of technically amazing ytpmvs this year but they just didn't click for me. especially because my interest for ytpmvs has been dwindling more and more, save for a couple joke videos that I still enjoy a lot (hence why there's been less videos on this year's playlist and a higher percentage of jokes this year in comparison to 2017)
finally, i feel like i had to go out of my way to look for videos i didn't want to add but this comp would be minuscule without them, and i also had to modify the playlist heavily this time around as i forgot many videos and lost interest in some others that were included early in the year
