Okay I've decided to rant more about them here. Please watch these videos. Specific reasons why I love these choreographers/dancers:
Brian Puspos and Sorah Yang both just FUCKING MURDER THE POCKET in all of their dances. They just live and breathe and flow in that shit and it is so beautiful to watch. Ian Eastwood's musicality is on a complete other level in that it is literally on every level. There isn't a thing happening in the song that he doesn't address with his movements but usually with subtlety which is my most favorite and the dynamics. The dynamics. Jojo Gomez is just a pure She Beast full of sexy dragon blood and the first person that I've ever felt like I want to have punch me in the face. She is the best illustration of what I think is a super important component in that style of dance which is going fucking HARD while staying so loose and like, whipy. Sometimes when people dance these really high energy pieces they just get too stiff and lose some dynamics but she is so relaxed and her hits are that much harder as a result and she does it effortlessly all while making you want her to punch you in the face. She also has incredible presence and is one of my favorite performers. Anyway dancing is nice.

Okay this is technically a GRV Dance Crew video but Sorah is the human magic that pops up around 2:50. The whole video is insane and bonus points if you also watch their Lazarus routine which doesn't feature any of these people but is amazing.

Okay I don't know why Target hates me so much when I have only ever loved it so much, but they don't have my exact journal on their site which is super annoying because they have a bunch of similar ones online, and it was like this last year too even though they've carried mine in every store I've been to for the past couple of years. So here's the closest one on their site, mine is just the spiral version of this:

I also can't find the nordstrom rack one online, but it's okay because my journal sharing had less to do with you buying these exact ones and more to do with encouraging you to find your unicorn journals that fit your needs because I am obsessed with journalling and think it's the most helpful thing in the world but also very personal.
okay well fuck me I can't find any of these notebooks online except the stupid one that says Chapter 1 which is on the target website, apparently this video just turned into a big brag sesh about how many cool journals i have that you can't have. I'M SORRY. But I will say that Target, TJ Maxx/Marshalls and Nordstrom Rack tend to bring in different journals and notebooks on the reg and I get most of them at those places so it's kind of an in-store/personal preference endeavor but I highly encourage it because I can say with absolute certainty that my friends, family, and therapist would all suffer so much more if I didn't have 7 paper friend/family/therapists for me to dump into constantly.
