Hello people. This video shows the process that I took (with the help of my father) in making my guitar for the 2017 Industrial Technology Timber HSC.

GUITAR SPECS:
Body:
- Birdseye Maple + Purple Heart 5-ply centre stripe
- Australian Blackwood wings
- Figured Australian Cherry top
Neck:
- Birdseye Maple + Jarrah + Blackbutt 5-ply neck
- African Ebony fretboard
Electronics:
- DiMarzio D Activator* (Bridge)
- DiMarzio True Velvet* (Middle)
- DiMarzio True Velvet* (Neck)
- 3 separate switches for pickup operation
- Coil-split on tone pot for bridge humbucker
Hardware:
- Floyd Rose Original Tremolo (Chrome)
- Grover Automatic Locking Tuners*
Construction:
- 25.25" (641.35mm) scale length
- 24 jumbo stainless frets
- Dot inlays (6mm and 3.175mm)
- Block inlay on 12th fret
- Set-neck design
- Danish Oil finish
[*] - the DiMarzio pickups have been replaced with EMG 89/SA/SA active pickups on 20 March 2021, and the Grover tuners have been replaced with Gotoh SG381 staggered locking tuners on 27 October 2023.
