The fourteenth installment in 2017 for Hallmark's Singing Snowmen/Jingle Pals collection was Stockings Hung with Care, with a snowman who sings an altered lyrics version of Jolly Old Saint Nicholas.
So I actually like this one more than I probably should. The candy canes are very bright and distinct, an image that stands out in my mind as soon as I think about this entry. I actually had to dim the lights on this recording to get the point across of how unique they look. It's definitely a new and welcome change. Also, it's just a nice theme in general as he hangs the stockings. It all looks very appealing and is one of my favorites appearance-wise. Even the song is nice and has Christmas vibes written all over it. However, I'm disappointed that the movements are pretty lazy. I mean, the snowman just casually kind of dances. It would have been nice if maybe he was moving his arms up to adjust the stockings or something. Even Rex moving by bobbing up and down during his parts would have been more satisfying to me. Rex has appeared four times and hasn't moved once. Overall, my complaints with this one more or less matches 2011's entry with boring movement, but this one has a much more unique and nice look that I really love, making it on par with 2013's personally. I seriously don't know which one I prefer - they both have similar problems but are really cool overall. There is only one more Jingle Pals to upload on Christmas Eve, so stay tuned!
