BrianZuk records a 1/2 mile drag race between a 2017 Audi R8 V10 Plus and a 2017 Porsche 991.2 Turbo S at Shift-S3ctor's California Airstrip Attack. According to R1 Motorsport (the shop that maintains the two cars) both cars are stock other than having aftermarket exhausts, the R8 Capristo and the Turbo S Boost Logic. Results: with even starts (but the Porsche using launch control), the Porsche crossed the 1/2 mile marker first and trapped a best of 160.599 mph, while the Audi trapped a best of 153.478.
