After Effects Animation is aimed at teaching motion graphics and character animation using the multimedia program After Effects. After Effects is a powerful, robust software. Its so many different programs in one, and because of that, the learning curve is steep and can be quite difficult.
This course will help smooth out that curve in one step-by-step package. Whether youre a complete beginner, a graphic designer looking to up-skill, or someone looking for a few useful tips, youre in the right place. Well start by covering the basics like the interface, the timeline, and creating different layer types, and composition.
Then well go over the different tools in After Effects like masks, shape layers, precomps, mattes, and the graph editor. Well then start with logo animation, covering three examples of animating logos from scratch. Including the Bloop logo, and even use Cinema4D Lite to animate a 3D logo and bring it into After Effects.
Well then get into character animation, rigging two characters from scratch using an easy to use rigging plugin and animating a complete shot from start to finish. Well go over lip syncing, working with cameras and exporting a final animation. We also added a module to cover client work. Going over the entire process from planning a project to delivering the final files.
This course will take you through the complete animation pipeline in After Effects so that you can create animated shorts, animated logos, or even a web series. After Effects is one of the most versatile and useful animation programs to know.
