A repair attempt of the capstan on the HP85 tape drive.
It did work, to a degree. I had thought that by using soft silicone tubing, it would have made up for the slight amount that the capstan was untrue. It sort of did. The main problem was that the tubing that I used that to great of a wall thickness, and was putting too much pressure on the tape roller for it to work reliably. I tried a different tubing I had, but that wasn't resilient enough.
