This the third of three Health-Mor upright vacuums that I own. This one was manufactured between 1933 and 1935, determined by the NRA eagle on the side of the box.

$(2011) ILG 12 Self - Cooled Motor Fan This is an antique ILG Self Self - Cooled Motor Fan that I had purchased on eBay. The Self Cooling feature was that the motor had a cap covering the back of it, while the front was left open. One of the legs of the frame is hollow, allowing fresh air from outside the building to be drawn into the motor through the leg and out through the front of the motor by the vacuum created while the motor was running. The first part of the video was a 3gp file that was salvaged from a failing microSD card that I had been using in my old phone, so its a bit glitchy... The remaining video of the teardown and rebuild was unfortunately lost. With the smaller stator windings in the motor, the fan runs at a fraction of its original speed, and provides just enough of a breeze to circulate the air in the room.$
