This is the Tour D'Elegance where a lot of the cars that will appear on the field for the Pebble Beach Concours D'elegance take a 50 mile run a couple days before the big show. The cars in the tour are not docked points in the Concours for any paint chips or road dirt on their cars because they are driven. The tour ends up in Carmel by the Sea at lunch time and spectators get a chance to walk around and closely view the cars.
