I actually may finish it soon, this was started in maybe october um and I made it then a student at school died and I didn't feel comfortable with editing it for a long while. Supposed to be the impact of death and "the one" for each doctor.

4. I made it for a tutorial video but its basic

Hi guys my hiatus is over! Turns out our contest is open to voting by the public so when that is available, in Dec, I will link you all to vote for my short film :)
Secondly I love this show Saving Hope. Its an ion show, canadian and amazing. the plot is that Alex and Charlie are two surgical resident and attendings (Charlie is ortho attending, Alex is general resident and chief resident in season 1.) at Hope Zion hospital and are going to get married, on their way to the court house they get in a car accident and Charlie is in a coma; he now assists patients in the stage between life and death when they do die and walks around the hospital trying to communicate with Alex. Alex now must deal with Charlies ex wife, coma care, patients, emotional pressure, Joel the new ortho attending, an intern, icu nurses etc. Its really good.
So naturally I made a multifandom with it and Greys. The way the coma is treated is VERY similar to Dereks car crash so you can take this an AU: Derek is sent to hope zion, Meredith arrives. Alex and Charlie get in a separate crash and Alex operates on Derek and meredith on charlie or Mer and Alex meet in the waiting room and bond over dying husbands or not.")

I made it into round two of CSC hosted by Alexia Frey and Regina George Black!
The second round was based around vidding a character you hate.
so I dug up Owen Hunt.
Reasons I guess?? I have to validate my reasoning:
1. I didnt mind him when he arrived, his ptsd storyline was a valid one ok ok ok
2. him and cristina were the worst couple to plague greys anatomy. there I said it. fight me. they were annoying as hell which leads me into
3. as soon as Owen pulled the anti abortion card I gave up. Personally I believe in Cristina having the right to choose and Owen had nothing on his side because Cristina has vocally said she doesnt like children, doesnt want children, and is painfully obviously terrible with child patients and hes an asshole for not understanding. Like the quote I used from Meredith, Cristina is still the woman he fell in love with. He knew what he was getting into and that plot line was a low blow
4. I dont blame owen for the plane crash I mean he didnt know but like still man
5. Even after cristina left I couldnt stand Owen and Im not down with Amelia/owen because she deserves better than him.
I just hate owen hunt and would trade him for 12 dead characters.

The idea is to bend your editing style. Every person edits differently despite using the same programs. like my style is more emotion and lyric based; if I have a lyric about drowning 9/10 times youll see a different clip of Meredith Grey drowning from season 3 eps 15-16-17 from Greys Anatomy. fact. I also use new blue fx zoom a lot, and pixel color morph transitions. Other people have different styles.
So the contest is to make you edit in a style beyond your own and transform your ideas.
