Master Smith Brion Tomberlin describes his 2013 TOMB Knife of the Year. It has a Persian style blade with Japanese influences, in that it has a hamon and is in cormorant neck style, which is also called unokubi zukuri style in Nipponese. What is so interesting is that two styles of Persian and Japanese tanto work harmoniously in Brion's creation.
