TIM ATLAS hails from San Jose, California, where this singer-songwriter became intrigued by the moving, romanticized sounds of Bon Iver, as well as the colorful blues guitar of John Mayer. Over the past year, Tim has focused his artistic efforts into his original songwriting. And as a result, Atlas has garnered over 5,000 subscribers on YouTube, and a loyal, eager fan base across the internet. With plans to record his first EP in the summer of 2013, Atlas intends to venture through uncharted musical territory with producer Jesse Barrera - exhibiting a mixture of ethereal falsettos, heavy percussive elements, and an undeniably uplifting lyrical message. This year, Kollaboration SF is hitting the South Bay at the beautiful California Theatre with six fierce competitors who will be facing off for a $1000 Grand Prize and $500 Audience Choice Award. Kollaboration SF is the largest Asian American entertainment event in the Bay Area and part of a nationwide movement to empower Asian and Pacific Islander communities through entertainment. The winner of Kollaboration San Francisco 2013 has the chance advance to the final round and compete at Kollaboration Star. Come to Kollaboration San Francisco to find out who will have the chance to become Kollaboration Star and win the $20,000 Grand Prize!
