Ice fishing, my first time out!
A mix of some timelapse, real time and stop mo video.
In a shanty, under the lake ice and out on the ice.
I usually don't have the patience for such nonsense ; ) but had an offer from a friend to come out, so trudge out across the lake I did, going to all the wrong shanties before finding his and settled in for an experience ... loved it!
I think making a photo project helped it along as well, but there's something about being out there in the blast of the winter wind trying to take apart your tar paper and 2x4 shanty, no computer!, trying to feed the fish . . . ahhh
Caught a little fella and didn't know it, thought it was my bait when looking down the hole, but thought too that my bait was getting bigger?!
