UPDATE: 11/09/2010 - The future equipment for kiteboard racing was decided last weekend on the IKA class AGM. From 2011 on, racing will take place in an open division and in a production division, which is strictly box-rule controlled and limited to 1 board & 3 kites that each competitor can register per event - bit.ly/IKAGear
Cabrinha announces one design racing clinics with international pro racing superstar Damien Leroy. Clinics will take place starting in November 2010 featuring Cabrinha's all new race board and race kite. More information about clinic dates, locations, and costs will follow in the coming weeks.
The clinics will cover the basics of one design racing:
1/ How to take command of the rules of racing
2/ How to hit the perfect start
3/ Tacking and jibing techniques
4/ Mark roundings
5/ Upwind and downwind techniques
6/ Getting the most out of your one design equipment
7/ Important cross-training techniques to ensure you can go the distance on the course, and more!!
