I wanted to make this video because I've been getting a lot of questions lately about why I changed the channel's name from Doing Fed Time to Sam Bent. This change is not just cosmetic; it reflects a deeper shift in my focus and mission.
As I’ve navigated the complexities of the federal prison consultancy industry, I realized that many of these so-called consultants are exploiting vulnerable individuals. They overcharge for basic information and use fear tactics to manipulate clients into spending more money. This realization was disheartening, and it became clear to me that my values did not align with the practices of these consultants. I want to help people avoid the pitfalls of the federal judicial system, not contribute to them. That's why I decided to pivot my content towards operational security and darknet markets, areas where I believe I can make a real difference.
My goal is to educate and empower individuals to stay safe online and avoid the mess of federal prison altogether.
