As a 40th birthday present from my wife Maria I went skydiving. A long held bucket list item. It was a tandem dive but took so long on the day to train for I could have done a solo dive and been away in less time. I remember being tied so tight to my tandem buddy I was almost breathless for the entire thing. It was exhilarating but is over in a flash once you dive from the plane. Still, it's the closest you get to flying so I'm glad I did it.
