The PEGASYS Awards is an annual video competition and awards ceremony for public and educational access producers in the Ithaca, NY area, organized by staff and volunteers of Ithaca's PEGASYS Community Media Center since 1985. Host of the 2008 Awards is Studio Coordinator Lauren Stefanelli. Producers competed in 10 categories. Winners are: 1. Short Subject, Mike Cederstrom; 2. Performing Arts, Don Bazley; 3. Comedy/Variety, Sean Brogan, Zach Capp, Matt Portman; 4. Tompkins County, Tony Ingraham; 5. Religion/Philosophy, Pastor Mike Corriero; 6. Magazine Format, Mike Cederstrom; 7.
