This video demonstrates how to do a drain and refill on the transfer case for the 2004-2008 Ford F-150. This procedure should be performed every 30,000 miles or so. These transfer cases originally came with the motorcraft XL-12 fluid which has been discontinued and has been superseded by the motorcraft mercon LV. The transfer case fluid was purchased from Amazon along with some of the other products used in this video and I have provided links below.
