As games and games consoles embrace new technology like disc-based storage, motion capture, texture mapping, online multiplayer and motion control, the medium is becoming almost unrecognisable from its early days. What can we expect from games in the future?
Contributors include Lord Puttnam - Vice President of BAFTA, visual artist Julian Opie, Professor Susan Greenfield, Emily Newton Dunn, Margaret Robertson of Edge Magazine, Charles Cecil of Revolution - creators of Beneath a Steel Sky and Broken Sword, Jez San of Argonaut - creators of Star Fox, and games impresario Peter Molyneux - whose previous hits include Populous, Theme Park, and Black and White, and who is currently working on xbox title Fable.
