Just installed new Motorcraft coils, NGK plus and fresh STP paper air filter. 17 degrees outside and a bit of a headwind. If this car traps at 87 mph in the quarter, these times equate to roughly 9.08 for 0-60 mph and a quarter mile of 16.59. Even if it manages to make 88 mph it should still be in the 16.70s or so.
Also wanted to document shift points compared to mph and rpm and the ignition advance which looks like 20 degrees at 5000 rpm.
Ill be adding an 87 octane tune with increased trans line pressure, raised shift points, a Police Interceptor airbox, intake tube and going up from 70mm to 80mm MAF. Interested to see the results.
