This is bizarre. In 2003 I was cast as a character in a German adaptation of a Rosamunde Pilcher Novel. Filmed on Dartmoor by a German TV company ZDF based at Plymouth Devon. My script was in English but when we came to film I discovered that everyone else was German and all the acting was done in German, except for me. I delivered my lines in response to Jens Knospe in English while he spoke only German. So I was dubbed with a German voice later. The scenes were tricky as I didn't know his lines in German and he didn't know mine in English. Very odd to see and do.
