It was 20 years today, in Toronto, at the Cherry beach parties, that I first met a contact juggling ball. A few of my friends started a daytime party there, and I had never been there before. It was my friends birthday. Davey had a shiney ball, and I wanted to play with it! I spent the whole day dropping that ball, and many more after that. I could never have imagined the places it brough me and the people who I have met and who have helped me along the way.
Being able to do this for twenty years is in great thanks to so.many.people. Thanks for all the inspiration, the support, the teaching me new tricks, the invitations to the stage and street and parties. The openness and helpfulness of the juggling & circus community is a huge part of why I am who I am today. It's all little pieces from what I learned from all of you! Thanks to every single one of you. What an adventure!
