In this video I cut out all the redesigned plates from acetal. I had to cut the z axis plate again as one side of the openings for the eccentric spacers couldn’t reach the aluminium c beam. This might have not been clear in the video but I didn't cut a second set of spindle mounting parts. The first ones felt a bit loose, but after loosing one of the M5 threads, I drilled and tapped them all out to M6 and it seemed to clamp down really tightly. Acetal is quite slippery but it seemed to work. In the next video I will dismantle the CNC machine and re-assembled it with the acetal plates.
