Flower City Arts Center Ceramics Studio Manager Kyle Lascelle demos, in full, the creation of a 2-3 foot ceramic onggi pot. Kyle uses a mixture of his own style and traditional styles of creating the pot from the ground up by combining coiling and throwing techniques. This entire process took about 3 hours for Kyle to complete, but it has been sped up here for ease of viewing. The pot was glazed and fired in our large kiln. We hope you enjoy the process!
