There are a lot of animals that live in the world today, but some of them straight up boggle the mind! Join me as I show you some of them!
20. Pig The Dog
Sometimes, a unique creature comes around now via an evolutionary change, but a genetic defect. Such is the case of Pig The Dog. This is a dog that looks very atypical, and the reason for that is that Pig was born without a certain number of ribs and vertebrae.
If it is unclear to you why that should matter, think of it like this, what do you think YOU would look like without some of your ribs and vertebrae? That's what I thought.
The good news is that Pig can run, walk, and bark without pain, which sometimes is an issue with genetic deformities like this.

The term "albino" refers to an animal or a person that has a genetic deformity that causes their hair and skin to not have the right pigmentation needed for certain colors.

I'm sure many of you know exactly what the Platypus is, and I'm sure some of you have even seen one at zoos. So why are we putting it on this list? Well that would be because it's known as this thing is known as "nature's reject". !
16. Panda Ant
I know what you're thinking, "oh, this is an ant that has panda fur, right?" Wrong, this creature is actually a wasp, but the other part is right in regards to the fur.
14. Mekong Catfish
Under the sea we go to see a catfish unlike any other, and that's because the average length of this particular catfish is about 10 feet long! That's right, it's basically double what its brethren are on average. Plus, the Mekong Catfish can weigh up to 650 pounds.
13. Kenny The Tiger
Kenny was another animal in the world that was an albino. But unfortunately for him, he wasn't born that way naturally, rather, he was bred to be an albino because they are worth big money as we mentioned earlier.
12. Saiga Antelope
The Saiga Antelope is a species that comes from Asia, from three countries actually via Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. If you somehow couldn't tell...it's unique because of its nose. That nose is actually flexible, which makes it a lot like an elephant trunk.
If you somehow see one in the wild, definitely take a picture of it.

Yes, Liger, as in "Lion + Tiger". Specifically, a male lion mating with a female tiger. Though some have been bred in the vice versa as well. Just that alone is enough to give chills to someone, but you might not realize that ligers can actually get twice as big as any lion or tiger.
10. Ankole-Watsui
The Ankole-Watsui are a type of cattle that was bred in America, but derives from Africa. What sets this group apart from all the other groups is simple, their horns are HUGE!
9. Red Giant Alaskan Malamute
There are a lot of big dog breeds in the world today, but one of the biggest by far is the Red Giant Alaskan Malamute.
That's one tough dog.

To be clear, the Black Flying Fox isn't a fox...it's actually a bat. One that has a rather massive body and wingspan compared to other bats.

You've heard the fact that various monkey species are very close to humans in terms of intelligence and more, right? Well, for the chimpanzee known as Kanzi, he takes that belief to a whole new level.

The Axolotl is a rare and strange creature in nature for many reasons. For example, the creature is a "mole salamander". Second, its standard form developed because its larvae fail to change during its natural metamorphosis.
5. Matilda The Cat
No, your eyes do NOT deceive you, this is a cat with REALLY big eyes, her name is Matilda.
4. Goliath Frog
No, your eyes do not deceive you, this is a massive frog, one that is called the Goliath Frog. This frog can grow up to 1 foot in length, and technically, it's bigger, but that's just measuring the body, not the legs.
3. Komondor
You might look at this dog and think someone warped their hair so that it would seem the dog has dreadlocks, right? Nope! This it he Komondor, and that's exactly how it looks without anyone touching it.

Behold! The Pangolin, a literal armored mammal, which is something that doesn't exist in the world outside of it oddly enough.
That shell it has is made of Keratin, which is the same material that is in hair, claws, hooves, antlers, and more.

I mean...what is there to say here? This is a rabbit that has fur so massive, you honestly can't tell that it's a rabbit. Sure, rabbits can be fluffy, but this rabbits is FLUFFY!!!
