OK, I had far too much fun with this! Those following my work recently on facebook will have realized my son is getting quite into his painting. This video is a bit of a pastiche of some out there on youtube taking their toddlers artwork a little seriously. I also like to make fun of some of the nonsense art speak out there.
In this video, my 2 year old son Arran gets a loan of my easel and acrylic paints and gets stuck into some abstract expressionism. From the time lapse at the end you can see that the painting was turned upside down. This was after having to seek shelter from a rain shower. He must have been inspired by that and used more water at the end creating drips. Either that or he did some reading into the work of Twombly. So for all you Twombly fans out there, here's the proof that "My 2 year old could do that".
Back to normality for the next film!
