2 US Aircraft Carrier Groups Along Warships From 6 Countries Entered South China Sea
US Navy aircraft carrier strike group, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) and USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) have arrived in contested waters in the South China Sea, along with a group of warships from 6 allied countries. The group of warships from 6 countries, including the British aircraft carrier attack group led by HMS Queen Elizabeth (R08). Warships from other countries, namely: Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force led by (JMSDF) Hyuga class helicopter destroyer JS Ise (DDH 182), HMCS Winnipeg (FFH 338) Royal Canadian Navy, HNLMS Evertsen Royal Netherlands Navy (F 805), HMNZS Te Kaha (F 77) Royal New Zealand Navy. This integrated maritime operation brings together more than 15,000 Sailors across six countries to demonstrate an unmatched network of alliances and partnerships.
