The first ever major exhibition in the UK devoted solely to the 2 Tone music sensation. The 2 Tone sound originated in Coventry’s thriving music scene of the 1970s. The legendary 2 Tone record label was founded in 1979 by Jerry Dammers of The Specials. Alongside the iconic tunes there was a desire to transcend and defuse racial tensions in Britain at that time.
