I do not use jigs often... But when I do they are quick and easy to make.

these are two jigs that are a godsend when you need them. the first is a center finder to find... wait for it... the center of a dowel or rod. The second helps you drill square holes. you can rest the drill bit in the notch and it will keep your hole Squair to the work.
