There is no doubt that Borderlands 3 and Gears of War 5 are the biggest games of September 2019. In this video I discuss which I may or may not buy. Why and why not with Borderlands 3 and Gears of War 5. Since PC is my best option for both, it's a tough decision. Borderlands 3 being exclusive to the Epic store is a blessing in disguise with my backlog and other new games I'd like to buy. So, I'm thinking Borderlands 3 may be off the table in favor of Gears of War 5. Gears of 5 unfortunately doesn't seem to be getting the same amount of hype some of the games in the past received. Is it Gears fatigue? Do people want more from Gears of War 5 and its story? I know I do. I hope that it's good and yet another technical showcase for Unreal Engine. I'm just not sure if buying either of these games in September is a good decision for me. Backlog is huge, and there are other upcoming games I think I'd rather play! Some may also say I can get Borderlands 3 for my PS4 Pro. You'd be correct. If I don't want to give Epic any more money, I can always get Borderlands 3 for my PS4 Pro. I just don't think I can play and truly enjoy FPS on a controller at 30FPS anymore. I'll wait for more details, but at this moment, I can't see myself buying Borderlands 3 on PS4.
