Woody and I hit the trail again for a 30-mile circular adventure called the Pride of the Peaks, starting and ending in beautiful Bakewell. We explored the rugged, untouched paths of the White Peak, making our way over the stunning Monsal Head viaduct and pushing through some fairly tough climbs. After dropping our gear at the Great Longstone campsite and testing out some new ultralight equipment, we grabbed a well-deserved pint before resting up for day two.
