First time such a prestigious or influential MC has ever played on an electronic festival such as HARD or anywhere else that focuses primarily on prog house to drum n bass. most people dismiss hip-hop for part of the electronic continuum, but this genre truly does fit inside this context. aside from that statement 2 chainz constructed a set that composed elements of: original trap music, southern hip-hop, 'EDM' trap, and electro. The particular thing that caught my attention is how 2 chainz set sounded like a concert focused on his music not like other artist (especially dj's) who play other people's music. 12/2/12 FULL SET. I have attended a lot of Kaskade shows in the past (edc 2009,2010, 2012, Coachella, Identity festival, Staples center, Marquee day club & nightclub, nocturnal, etc) BUT this one by far was THE best set he has ever performed. back to his roots of deep house and he was ACTUALLY performing a live set (he usually jumps around and hands in the air stuff). Most amazing thing is that he was not even billed to perform on-stage that night (not even as a special guest). Another amazing thing was Michelle Phan was in attendance along with his wife (on the dance-floor). SUPER RARE!!!")
