Under the leadership of a madman, "The People's Temple" went down in history as one of the most shocking tragedies in the history of the United States of America. The Haunting of Cresson State Prison: An Evil Monster Hides Here.. Paranormal Quest 2023-05-27 | On this adventure, we were invited by @AmysCrypt to one of the most haunted prisons in America... Cresson State Prison in Cresson, Pennsylvania. This place has seen tragedy, headache, and pain unlike any other place in the country. When it closed in 2013 it was a state prison, but it was built as a tuberculosis sanatorium that lost thousands of patients. Then for 30 years it was a psychiatric hospital, and finally became a correctional institution in 1987. From 1990 - 1996 it was the home to a notorious inmate... a monster named Joseph Kallinger. This man manipulated his teenage son into helping him take the lives of at least 3 people, and when he was caught, he blamed it on hallucinations that plagued his mind. The voice of god telling him to do harm. These phantom voices controlled his every action and made him do the most terrifying and terrible things. In 1996, after decades of incarceration, Kallinger met his end here at SCI Cresson. Now, it's believed his spirit still roams this prison. This is PART 1 of a two night investigation. In this first part we will focus on the prison history and spirits of inmates that are still said to haunt this place. In PART 2 we will spend the second night exploring the history of the Sanatorium. Cresson Sanatorium and Prison is a different kind of haunting. This place is a hotbed for paranormal activity and many people have been witness to it. The HAUNTED House that Terrifies an Entire Town: Ghosts of Asher Walton House Paranormal Quest 2023-05-20 | The Asher Walton House is rumored to be so haunted, the most of the residents town of Atlanta, Indiana are terrified to step inside. For decades, people in the park across the street would see a woman in white standing in the window of the vacant house watching them. The new owner of the house tried to use it for a business office, but after multiple paranormal experiences decided to abandon that plan as well. Not only is this haunted house rumored to be a portal for child spirits, but it is also said to be home to poltergeist activity. Over the las 25 years visitors to this former Monastery have seen the ghostly figures of nuns wandering it's halls. When paranormal researcher Dennis Batchelor was brought in to identify the hauntings, he found that this Abbey might be holding more secrets than anyone realized. Phantom footsteps, disembodied voices, shadow figures, doors opening by themselves, and many other paranormal occurrences have made the Holy Cross Abbey one of the most haunted Monasteries in the United States of America. ❌The Scariest HAUNTED Prison in Australia❌ || Paranormal Quest #haunted #paranormal Paranormal Quest 2022-12-10 | Join us as we spend the night ALONE inside the Haunted Adelaide Gaol (Jail), which was one of South Australia's most notorious prisons. While inside, we experience paranormal activity that leaves us shocked. Our friends at @haunted-horizons gave us the amazing opportunity to spend the night inside the Adelaide Gaol, in search of paranormal evidence. This prison is VERY well known for being haunted, but we had no idea what we was in store for us. #haunted #paranormal #ghost #ghosthunt #explore #paranormalactivity #hauntedhistory #ghoststories #hauntedprison The Old Adelaide Gaol was built in 1841 and operated for 147, before finally closing in 1988. In that time 300,000 prisoners passed through its gates, all serving time for wide variety of crimes. The fact that it operated until 1988 is shocking to us, because the conditions were appalling. Even at the time that it closed, the cells didn't have toilets. The prisoners were forced to "do their business" in buckets, even up until 1988. The cells were overcrowded, the food was almost inedible, cells were not temperature controlled, the prison was infested with vermin and prisoners saw this place as their own personal hell... maybe it was. The records know of over 300 deaths inside the prison which include 45 executions, all by hanging. From 1894 to 1950 the permanent gallows was inside one of the main cellblocks, which we will investigate tonight. All of this anger, rage, heartache, and violence has left many people believing that the Old Adelaide Gaol is one of the most haunted places in South Australia. The evidence we captured on our investigation speaks for itself. The ghosts are said to greet anyone who enters, and tonight we will be staying the night to find out if any of the former prisoners are waiting for us inside one of Australia's Most Haunted Jails. In the 1850s, Kilmore, Victoria went crazy over gold. The sudden riches in the gold mines brought a huge number of unpleasant and downright nasty individuals to the town. To combat this high rise in crime rate the town built the Kilmore Gaol (Jail). Because Kilmore was a highly visited gold mining town, it Brough outlaws from all over the continent who were in search of wealth, for better or for worse. This left a string of robbers, murderers, and violent criminals dumped inside the walls of the Old Kilmore Gaol. The facility was a maximum-security prison in use from 1859 until 1891 when it was decommissioned and used as a butter factory. The gaol saw many escapes and uprisings over its 32-year period of use. Contrary to popular belief, Ned Kelly was never actually a prisoner here.It has maintained its original bluestone walls and intimidating appearance, but the interior of the jail was renovated during the time it served as a butter factory. During its time as a butter factory, workers already began to circulate rumors that the old Gaol was haunted. Voices were heard, shadow figures were seen, and after the closure of the factory, many started to wonder if some of these criminals and outlaws may have stayed permanently, their souls trapped, never to leave. the TRUTH of The Crow Sisters TRAGEDY || Paranormal Quest ® || S09E09 Paranormal Quest 2022-11-20 | In May of 1791, this wooded area became the site of an unspeakable act. A massacre that is said to still haunt these woods to this day. Today, we will explore the area where the Crow sisters lost their lives to see if the rumors are true... Are these woods haunted?The Crow family has owned this land for generations, and the crow family has known tragedy for many many years. None of them were quite as shocking as the events of May 1791. On May 1 1791, the Crow sisters were visiting a family friend when they were attacked by a group of Native Americans and a white man believed to be William Spicer. The girls were taken captive for only moments before the men decided they were going to kill them. The 4 girls between the ages of 10 and 16 were attacked wit tomahawks, brutalized and massacred. Only one of the 4 girls was able to escape and make her way home to alert her family of the attack. In the end, the girls were memorialized on the rock from which their attackers were hiding. Their names are still carved into the rock to this day. The land is stained with the blood of the tragedy that has left a haunting mark on this land. It is believed that some who venture into the woods by themselves have come into contact with the ghosts of the Crow sisters. The story of hauntings have made the area infamous among locals because so many have had what they think are paranormal experiences. The screams of the girls are said to still echo through the trees to this day. Shadows and dark figures are also seen that people have speculated to be the spirits of Spicer and the Natives. We wouldn't be having videos this entire month if not for them! Today we travel to Bryan, Ohio to investigate a building that is said to be the home of something evil. People have been attacked, scratched, and even ran out of this structure. We're here to find out if those rumors are true. Local paranormal investigator Austin Maynard has called us in yet again to investigate the old Bryan Granary, after reports of people being physically attacked inside the building. He believes something evil lives here, feeding off of the lands tragic history that is waiting for us, inside the creepiest structure in Northwest Ohio. It's believed the land on which the Granary sits was the final stop for so many infants back in the Victorian era. Local prostitutes would leave their unwanted babies beside the railroad tracks, and never think of them again. It's said to this day you can still hear the crying of babies in and around the tracks by which the granary sits. Then, a woman was tragically hit by a train, while crossing the tracks. Her spirit is said to still be seen to this day. In the 1950s, a man named Jack was nearly torn in half by a mechanical accident in which he found his leg caught in a rotating belt. It took him 20 minutes, but he did lose his life in the basement and his coworker went to get help. Austin believes all of these spirits are still here haunting the Granary, but he also believes the tragedy opened a doorway for something dark to enter the building. Earlier this year, a woman was attacked by an unseen force, collapsed to the ground, and had to be carried from the property. This is just one of many dark encounters people have had while visiting the historic building. THE GATES TO HELL | BRUSHY MOUNTAIN PENITENTIARY #horrorstories Paranormal Quest 2022-10-29 | No place is more infamously haunted than the Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary! Tonight, we will celebrate Halloween with @KalaniGhostHunter and @HauntingsWithHodge by spending a terrifying night investigating the hauntings of this legendary prison. This prison got a reputation from the beginning. The inmates said stepping through the gates of Brushy Mountain was like stepping through the Gates to Hell. The haunted history of this prison leads many to believe some of them may still be living out this hellish existence long after they have passed on. Brushy Mountain opened in 1896 as a mining prison, with the intention to make the state of Tennessee a profit from incarceration. The inmates were forced to work long hours in the coal mine and sleep in disgusting living conditions. Disease, starvation and torture claimed the lives of so many inmates inside Brushy Mountain in its earliest years. In the 1930s, a new sandstone prison was built by the back-breaking labor of the inmates themselves as they constructed the prison that would house them. Once the new prison was complete, this fortis within the mountains was used to incarcerate some of the most notable inmates in United States history. Most legendary of which was James Earl Ray, the convicted assassin of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and this caused a lot of tension within the prison. Ray came here in 1970 and his presence spark hatred and anger amongst the prison population that led to a never-ending cycle of violence that made Brushy Mountain one of the most dangerous prisons in America. By the time Brushy Mountain closed in 2009, the casualties were astronomical. No one really knows the exact number of people who perished in the property, but estimates place the number of deaths well over 10,000. Many people believe the souls of the inmates still remain inside the cells and halls, still serving out their sentence while they wait for unsuspecting guests to enter the prison. Shadow figures have been seen, full bodied apparitions have been witnessed, disembodied voices have been heard, and many ghostly presences have been experienced by investigators and everyday tour guests. When we enter Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary tonight, it'll be after 9 years of waiting. Since 2013 when the prison opened to the public, we've been dreaming about investigating this place. The HAUNTED Home for Forgotten Children (The Ghosts of Bihl Manor) || Paranormal Quest® Paranormal Quest 2022-10-22 | The Bihl Manor is said to be haunted by the spirits of the children who were left here by their families! But lurking in the basement is something not so playful. Tonight we'll spend the night to see what paranormal activity occurs on this overnight investigation of this home for forgotten children. Built in 1898, the Bihl Manor was a happy home for about 24 years. When it was sold to the Wolfe family in 1920 tragedy plagued them until both Clarence and Daisy Wolfe died inside these walls. The home was then purchased by the Toledo Children's Foundation to house kids who were unwanted and abandoned by their families. Not much is known about what life was like inside this children home, but space was in short supply. At one point the home was packed to more than double its designed capacity. Rumors have circulated about the children being mistreated while living here, and one historian may have found records of an accidental demise of young man who despised the manor's accommodations. In July of 2022, Karlo Zuzic purchased the house to restore it and live in it. It wouldn't take him long to find out it was haunted. Disembodied voices were heard the first time he stepped inside the house, and since then he has heard footsteps, seen shadowy figures, felt the presence of a child he couldn't see, and witnessed paranormal investigators be bitten and scratched in the basement. Karlo, being a veteran paranormal researcher of Orbs Paranormal Investigations, he couldn't ignore the signs. The Manor is haunted. Now he has set out on a mission to find out what spirits truly haunt the Bihl Manor. HAUNTING of an ABANDONED VILLAGE || Paranormal Quest® S09E04 Paranormal Quest 2022-10-15 | What will happen we stay the night in this village made up entirely of haunted and historical buildings?The paranormal is a very interesting and unknown field. Strange energies or spirits can attach themselves to a building for a number of reasons, and paranormal activity can occur when you least expect it. In the 1960s, the Defiance County Historical Society acquired land near the Auglaize River for them to attempt a unique historical preservation project. This land became the Auglaize Village. One by one, historic buildings were moved to the village from their original location to save them from demolition. The Auglaize Village would serve as an outdoor museum for visitors to come and see the structures and take a look back through history. As the volunteers started to restore the buildings they began to experience things they couldn't explain. Some of them still believe the ghosts who haunted the structures came with the buildings when they were moved. The Underground Paranormal Network was contacted and did some investigating inside the village and found an astounding amount of paranormal evidence. Tonight, the Underground Paranormal Network has allowed us to investigate any of the buildings we want, to see what paranormal evidence we can capture inside the Auglaize Village. We chose the Sherry Schoolhouse, the Chapel of Crosses, the creepy Kinner Cabin, and the historical Military Museum. Each has it's own history and each has it's own ghost stories. Though it was the home of different people they all seemed to have a common struggle. Romantic relationships would crumble inside this house, and many believe a power struggle still rages on here to this day. A woman named Rita was basically imprisoned within the house during a very volatile marriage. She was confined within the bedroom most of the time, and people believe to have seen and experienced her ghost still within the house, specifically the bedroom. Also, after a heated break-up, a woman named Monica would use witchcraft and rituals in an attempt to make sure her ex-boyfriend would never feel comfortable in this house again. Her goal was to use the mirrors in the second floor to open portals inside the house to flood it with spirits and entities to torture the man who wronged her. If she succeeded, those spirit portals have never been closed and still act as an open doorway for any entity to travel to the house. Finally, a woman named Debra was being forced to move out by her ex after a heartbreaking split. She started to show signs of mental instability and before the inevitable relocation, she took her own life in the basement. The owner Mike has personally seen a shadowy figure of a woman standing in the doorway of the room where the unfortunate event occurred, and her voice has been heard and captured by other paranormal teams who have investigated the house. But something darker also lurks down in the basement. Built in the 1890s by John Stark, this saloon was a family business that supported he, his wife, and their 5 children. In the small town of Rosedale, Indiana, everyone knows everyone and every scandal was front page news. In 1902, His wife Jennie fell ill and had to summon her sister from Terre Haute to help her take care of the children. Her sisters arrival would lead the family down a path of secrets, lies, infidelity, and murder that shook the town to its core. This crime is very unique, in that the family and town never actually blamed the killer for his crime and pushed the blame off on someone else. The denial went so far that the victim was buried in the same grave as her killer and still remains there to this day. The whole town speculated on what actually led to that fatal day in 1903, but the details of their relationship was kept a secret. 119 years later a new owner has purchased the saloon and now plans to fix it up while allowing Ghost Hunters to investigate the hauntings of this once prosperous building. The HAUNTED Church of All Religions (Open Crypt in the Basement) || Paranormal Quest® S09E01 Paranormal Quest 2022-09-24 | This Church of All Religions is Haunted by the lost souls of those who may still be buried beneath the basement floor. We will stay the night to see if we can capture any paranormal activity inside this unique building!In 1895 the original wooden methodist church was replace by this looming beauty. Legend has it, the process required the removal of the cemetery that surrounded the old wooden church. After the process was complete, they started to speculate that they may have forgotten to move 6 of the caskets to a new location, but nothing was ever done to uncover the missing dead. Over a century later, after the church ceased operations, John Trippy purchased the building to save it from being torn down. Unsure of what he would do with it, he was lead on a spiritual journey through Italy that made him realize the church could be repurposed as a restaurant and microbrewery, a gathering place to bring people of all religions together. Almost immediately, John and his staff began to experience paranormal activity. Voices, apparitions, shadow figures, and poltergeist activity left John questioning if the building could truly be haunted. The most shocking revelation came when the basement was being renovated to accommodate the dining area. In a private dining room, under the brick floor, a casket was discovered. This help fuel speculation of more graves and caskets being underneath the cellar floor. Today, the open crypt can be viewed inside this private dining room as it was only covered over by a piece of glass. Could the lost souls of all of those still under the church haunt this holy structure? That's what we are here to find out. Father John's Microbrewery truly is a one of kind place. Inside this church, the sanctuary is used for Buddhist and Hindu meditation sessions. Crosses line the wall beside statues of Krishna and Buddhist prayer wheels. A special dining area is set up in the style of Nepal, where just down the hall a bronze cross from the Vatican can be seen. This wild concoction of energies is said to fuel the paranormal activity of the church and many people have left with unexplained and supernatural experiences. As we investigate this church, we find out that it would provide us with some of the most unbelievable responses we've ever captured on a paranormal investigation. Built between 1886 and 1910, the Reformatory housed criminals of all types, and some of them never left. Tonight we will spend the night to find out if it's truly Haunted!The Williams County Jail and Sheriff's Department was built in 1869 to replace a small log jail which served the town for 25 years. Criminal Offenders were house here to await trial until the 1990s, and over the years the place gained a reputation for being haunted. A newspaper article was written in the mid 20th century about the paranormal experiences occurring inside the jail. They believed the ghost of an executed murderer from 1847 had come back to haunt the jail and those who operated it. As the years went on, more stories of ghosts and haunting started to pile up. In recent years, the jail sits almost empty (except for a few pieces of furniture and trinkets purchased at estate sales), but visitors claim to hear the voices of spirits calling out to them from within the cells. Shadow figures are seen, footsteps and doors slamming are heard, and some even believe the whole town of Bryan to have a special connection to the spirit world.
